The Bismarck Cancer Center (BCC) conducts a weekly patient peer review session. These sessions are an important part of cancer care as they ensure services are as safe as possible, they improve the quality and effectiveness of care, they provide development and learning for all involved, and they encourage the dissemination of good practices.
All sessions are attended by our radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, nurses, and support service staff to review personalized treatment plans for patients. Your healthcare team reviews your diagnosis and medical history in detail to ensure you receive the best treatment options. The overall treatment plan may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or a combination of these.
